Treasury Releases Reg Reform Paper in Advance of Press Conf Slated for 12:50 pm

In advance of a press conference that will be broadcast on C-span at 12:50 pm EDT today, at which President Barack Obama and U.S. Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner will present the administration's proposals for financial regulatory reform, the U.S. Treasury Department has released the 89-page report, Financial Regulatory Reform: A New Foundation, and 7-page Executive Summary. The documents, along with related Fact Sheets, are posted on www.ustreas.gov. Some early highlights based on the 'near final draft' posted on various news websites last night were provided earlier today by Dave Lynn in The CorporateCounsel.net blog.
